Arden Low Goal Tournament Cancelled

Arden today confirmed rumours that were circulating that they have been forced to cancel their low goal tournament scheduled for 13th/14th September. Arden Chairman Simon Paynter said "I would like to apologise on the club's behalf to all those who were looking forward to our low goal to finish the season. Unfortunately our A & B pitches still resemble a school rugby pitch in February and we do not want to risk further damage to them with another tournament. Additionally we are very short of organisers with myself and others all away over that weekend.

He added that Arden are looking at changing their schedules possibly next year and maybe even the low goal formula although they are still keen to run an end of season tournament next year conditions permitting.
