Statement from the Director of Coaching

The UKPA is included in the BEF member bodies that can now deliver, assess and accredit the UKCC.

All UKPA members who would like to gain this qualification are invited to apply for a place on a course. Those who hold the UKPA Coaching award will have certain elements fast tracked into the course. However, anyone wishing to gain the UKCC is able to apply.

Eligibility is 16 years and over with experience of good horsemanship and riding skills, playing Polocrosse and coaching.

The first Level 2 UKCC course will take place in the South West at my training centre near to Bath ( see address below)

Course dates : Saturday 13th Oct and Sunday 14th October; Saturday 10th November and Sunday 11th November 2007.

Candidates will be expected to carry out some coaching sessions between these weekends.

Max numbers on course 8 – so please apply early on line to : jane.wrightroberts@btinternet.com. An application form will be sent to you by return.

There will be no charges to candidates attending these courses

Next course dates will be published soon for a course to be held in the North West at the Welsh College of Horticulture before Chrsitmas.
