Polocrosse baby is born
The Polocrosse Extreme team
would like to send their congratulations to Danny Duhig
and Rachael Gayler on the birth of their son, Riley Cooper
Duhig, who was born on the 26th of January at 4.50 am and
weighed 8lbs 3oz (editor's note: we know we are a bit
late but so was he!). As the son of two international
polocrosse stars, (Danny played for the UK and Rachael for
the USA in the 2011 World cup) we look forwards to seeing
him on the pitch in a few years time!
Founder
of UK Pony Club Polocrosse passes away
Genifer Malden, the lady who
introduced polocrosse to the UK Pony Club and was a founder
member of the UKPA has passed away at the age of 85. She
was chairwoman of Pony Club Polocrosse for many years and
she was the first ever honorary life member of the UKPA,
she remained interested in polocrosse throughout her life.
The Polocrosse Extreme team sends their condolences to her
family and would like to thank her for her contribution
to the wonderful game throughout her life.
Jason
Webb makes Professional Rider Final 10 on ESMA
UK Polocrosse Star Jason Webb
continued his rise to very well deserved recognition and
stardom this week with the announcement that he has made
the final 10 of the Professional Rider category in the Equestrian
Social Media Awards (ESMA). He is in hallowed company, alongside
names such as William Fox-Pitt, Mark Todd and Tim Stockdale.
So if you love Webby (and who doesn't!) and you would love
to see a polocrosse player finally recognised on a national
stage why not go to The
ESMA webage to cast your vote for him (we already
have!)

Did you miss us? Well you
don't have to anymore! The Polocrosse Extreme team has returned
from its three month trip round Asia and is now getting
ready for an action packed 2012. We did not waste our time
away, many lucky people around Asia learnt about the wonders
of polocrosse and we tried to see if we could start any
polocrosse out there but alas horses are in short supply...Read
