UKPA Ball Poll

There have been suggestions put forwards to cancel the UKPA ball for 2007 as it has made a financial loss and been poorly attended in the last two years. here is the chance for you all to have your say in the form of fun online polls.

There have been a number of alternative ideas suggested such as:

1) Hold the ball during the season or closer to the end of the season so that people don't get out of a polocrosse frame of mind

2) Don't have a ball, instead hold the Awards ceremony on the Sunday night of Nationals (the Sunday night party at Nationals did have the Man of the Year awards and was well attended)

3) Hold the ball at a different location, possibly a hotel like it used to be held at, (the location for the last two years has been hard to get too and you have to stay in hotels quite far away from the conference centre itself. Also people have commented the bars shut far too early for it to be decent night).

4) Hold it somewhere more informal, so people can camp close to the venue and don't have it as black tie affair.

5) Hold it in a big marquee (like Kent did at Risebridge in 2001) and have it as a black tie affair but with the ususal camping

These are all the suggestions I can remember at present but if anyone has other ones email them to me and I will produce the polls and raise them at the executive meeting on Sunday (if we are discussing it then, not sure we are, I think I have an agenda somewhere!). Anyway, get voting!!
